- VACATION:

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The role involves greeting, engaging with customers, processing sales, loans, and other transactions. The associate will work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more.
The position offers hourly pay plus commission based on productivity. The actual pay will be based on location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities of a Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate:
- Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
- Performs open/close procedures as required.
- Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
- Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures.
- Answers incoming calls as per company standards.
- Clearly communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers; fosters a positive customer experience.
- Works with all employees to provide a positive and memorable customer experience.
- Completes required training successfully.
- Other related duties, as assigned.
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be willing and able to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods; ability to work in accordance with relevant laws.
- Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
- Occasional exterior customer assistance or retrieval of products stored outside the building may be required.
- Minimum Age: 18 years old
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Strong desire to work, serve customers, be team-oriented.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
- Cash handling experience is preferred.
- Ability to work across multiple locations as needed.
- Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Commission Plan InformationThe employee commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission, based on personal performance; details are provided during the interview process.
