Job Summary

This role supports the Director of Rehabilitation Services, ensuring coordinated departmental effort, continuous quality improvement, and nursing care based on the nursing process.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director with all department activities to achieve coordinated efforts and long‑range planning.
  • Coordinate the department’s participation in performance‑improvement activities to assure continuous quality improvement.
  • Ensure nursing care is based on the nursing process and evaluate its effectiveness on an ongoing basis.
  • Provide clinical support to the nursing staff.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the Rehabilitation team.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited professional nursing school;
    Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting; supervisor/manager experience preferred.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or a Multi‑State Compact License;
    Texas RN license required within 90 days of hire if RN Compact License holder.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
  • ACLS certification preferred.
