We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ceramic Insulator Molding Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain injection, casting, or hydraulic press machinery used to manufacture ceramic or porcelain electrical insulators. They ensure precise, defect‑free production by monitoring parameters like temperature and pressure, inspecting finished parts, and performing routine maintenance on molds and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Machine Setup:
Install and align dies and molds for ceramic casting or injection molding. - Production Operation:
Operate molding machines and adjust parameters (pressure, temperature, cycle times) to meet specifications. - Quality Control:
Inspect molded insulators for defects such as flashing, incomplete fill, or surface imperfections. - Maintenance:
Clean, lubricate, and perform minor repairs on molds and machinery to ensure continuous production. - Safety & Reporting:
Follow safety protocols (PPE), maintain a clean workspace, and document production data.
- Indoor factory setting.
- May require shift work to maintain continuous production.
- Focus on safety regulations due to heat and high‑pressure equipment.
- Previous experience in molding (ceramic, plastic, or polymer) or industrial machine operation preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude; ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions; strong attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 30-50 lbs and work in a fast‑paced environment.
