RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in 30-bed ICU unit on 3rd floor

• Patient ratios: 1:1, 2:1, and 3:1 depending on acuity and patient needs

• Work with specialized equipment including CRRT, IABP, and Impella

• EMR system:
Meditech

• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS

• Must have ICU experience with ventilators and cardiovascular drips

• Neuro experience preferred

• Typical procedures include thoracentesis, arterial line placement, and central line placement

• Float to IMU as needed

• Dress code:
Royal blue scrubs required

• 4 weekend shifts required per schedule

• No on-call responsibilities

• Day and night shift positions available with staffing of 2 charge nurses and 15 staff nurses depending on acuity
