Job Summary

Allegiance Mobile Health of Conroe, TX is seeking a skilled Paramedic (EMT‑P) to provide advanced life support care in emergency and non‑emergency settings. The role involves patient assessment, advanced interventions, medication administration, EKG interpretation, and safe transport to healthcare facilities. Candidates must exhibit clinical expertise, leadership, and composure in high‑stress environments.

Base pay range: $40,000.00 – $63,000.00 per year
. Actual compensation is based on DSHS certification level, experience and schedule rotation.

• Respond to emergency and non‑emergency calls 24/7; operate a variety of emergency vehicles under all road conditions.
• Navigate using map books, written and verbal directions to respond efficiently and safely.
• Follow departmental, local and state driving laws, policies, and procedures.
• Use communication equipment and interact verbally with dispatchers, EMS crews, first responders and other agencies per policies.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment readiness; conduct daily checklists and support resupply, decontamination and general readiness tasks.
• Report discrepancies with vehicle, supplies or equipment in writing.
• Provide direct patient care per Medical Director’s authorization and protocols.
• Demonstrate clinical competence in all patient care instances.
• Exhibit physical capability to lift, carry, transport and extricate patients in all settings, sometimes without assistance.
• Interact with Police, Fire and First Responder agencies.
• Deliver professional customer service in all contacts.
• Accurately complete patient care reports, billing information and other documentation promptly.
• Work under physically and psychologically taxing conditions (inclement weather, temperature extremes, hazardous environments, loud noises, high stress).
• Accept high potential exposure to blood‑borne pathogens, dangerous chemicals, sharp objects and fall/trip hazards.
• Perform additional duties such as housekeeping and special projects as assigned.
• Pass departmental skill evaluation and complete the NEOP process before staffing a truck.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

• Lift, carry, balance, push up to 125 pounds (250 pounds with assistance).
• Bend from waist, touch toes, squat with legs parallel, kneel with knees grounded.
• Repeat lifting, squatting, stooping and kneeling.
• Climb 20 stairs within 60 seconds.
• Perform fine manual dexterity tasks (IV insertion, intubation, etc.).
• Hold vision correctable to read signs, see in low light, read small print.

• Use good judgment, remain calm in high‑stress situations.
• Maintain a positive attitude amid adversity.
• Exhibit good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Function during extreme fatigue, low/no rest, extreme temperatures, inclement weather.

• High school graduate or GED.
• Certified paramedic in the State of Texas.
• CPR certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• 911 Pre‑Hospital Life Support (PHTLS) or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS).
• Effective communication skills.
• Read, write and interpret instructions in English.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and insurable status.
