Simple Steps, LLC is searching for a professional and enthusiastic Therapeutic Art Facilitator in the Conroe, TX area to provide services for veterans in need. This is an employee position.
PART-TIME with a potential to increase hours due to Veteran needs!

Simple Steps, LLC is a family owned and operated company that collaborates with various organizations to provide in-home and community programming for wounded veterans. We utilize one-on-one care to foster positive relationships with our clients in order to facilitate their personal success.
Job Description: The Therapeutic Art Facilitator provides individualized therapeutic sessions for our veterans. This position includes the following:
Assisting clients with cognitive and physical limitations.Facilitating therapeutic art activities to foster client growth.Submitting weekly documentation with session observations and client progress.Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to foster communication and team unity.Qualifications and Preferred Criteria:
LPC PreferredATR-P, ATR, or ATR-BC PreferredExperience with Traumatic Brain InjuryExperience working with veteransExperience working with mental health conditionsExperience working with Post Traumatic Stress DisorderEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to travel to current or prospective clients’ homes.Must be able to communicate with health care professionals, clients, families, and the general public through verbal and written communication.Must have access to a private personal laptop or desktop computer for HIPAA compliance.Track SMART goals and progress through weekly documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Reader.Implement patient care plans through home and community goal-related activities.Able to work independently, manage one’s own time and the time of client(s).All individuals should have the following:
