2026 Summer Camp – Overnight Leadership Staff

Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council

The Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council offers three yearly summer overnight camps:
Misty Meadows Ranch, Camp Agnes Arnold, and Casa Mare. Camp staff will be trained to work at all three camps, but primarily work at Misty Meadows and Camp Agnes Arnold in Conroe, TX. Staff will live and work onsite Sunday noon through Friday 6:30 pm and one weekend Friday 6:30 pm through Saturday 5:30 pm. Room and board are provided.

• Assistant Camp Director – Assists the Camp Director and Program Director in implementation of the camp program, supervises counselor staff and overall camp operations.
• Session Program Director – Manages daily schedules and programs for camp sessions, supervises Program Specialists and program areas.
• All Camps Program Director – Plans and implements All Camp activities and programs, supervises Program Specialists and program areas.
• Aquatics Director – Oversees pool and waterfront programming and safety, trains and supervises lifeguards.
• Sailing Director – Facilitates sailing activities, provides progressive learning experiences, trains and supervises sailing staff.
• Engagement Manager – Assists the Camp Director with business operations such as parent engagement and communication, supports staff communication.
• Assistant Equestrian Director – Supports the Equestrian Program Manager, works as horseback riding instructor, mentors Equestrian staff.
• Health Supervisor – Licensed practitioner, supervises general health of campers and staff, ensures compliance with health and safety standards.

• Must be 21 years of age or older, unless otherwise specified.
• Enjoy working with youth.
• Experience managing a team of people or program delivery.
• Experience working at an overnight summer camp program or equivalent experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive a 12‑passenger van.
• Ability to reside at the camp property for the duration of the camp season and occasionally live in non‑air‑conditioned spaces.
• Comfortable working in hot summer conditions and exposure to outdoor weather.
• Additional requirements and duties as necessary to perform the job.
