Material Handler
6AM-6PM 2-2-3
SAP Experience Preferred
Responsibilities:
- Physically prepare items for shipment, wrap and band per company standards & or CSIs.
- Determine method of shipment by checking the shipping notes and order routing.
- Assist with receiving and shipping defective products.
- Accurate record retention for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Assist with organizing stock, stage for loading and unloading trucks to maximize efficiency.
- Keep an organized and neat warehouse.
- Assist in weekly cycle counting of inventory.
- Will function as backup to receiving clerk but not limited to other shipping areas.
- This position requires a self-motivated individual who communicates and influences with credibility and confidence.
- This position requires an individual who can make a quick decision based on the facts given.
- This individual should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with the ability to pay attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal, time management skills and a proven track record as a team player are also required.
- Must have a strong forklift operating background.
- High School Diploma / Equivalent
- 5 years of related job experience including inventory reconciliation.
- Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications (is a plus)
- 5+ years of related job experience
- Demonstrated use of problem solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills (is a plus)
- Team oriented and past success working as a cross functional team member (is a plus)
