As an Electrician you will have the opportunity to perform various skilled, semi-skilled, and manual work functions associated with installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our production equipment- helping keep manufacturing operations running smoothly and without interruption. • Performs various skilled, semi-skilled and manual work functions associated with installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment such as troubleshooting electrical problems, reviewing and commenting on electrical wiring/systems, installing electrical circuits, replacing breakers and fuses, replacing defective wiring, removing/installing breaker panels and covers, installing/replacing indoor/outdoor lighting fixtures, installing electrical receptacles/switches, repairing/wiring electrical motors, installing/maintaining exhaust fan/systems, running wires/cables, bending conduit, changing ballasts or replacing bulbs/batteries.
• Tests continuity of circuits to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components; inspects/tests machinery, equipment and parts for proper operations; adjusts, repairs or replacements as appropriate; reports problem situations.
• Installs, repairs, replaces and maintains a variety of electrical fixtures, systems, equipment and related components in compliance with applicable codes.
• Operates a variety of machinery, equipment and tools associated with installing, repairing and maintaining electrical systems and fixtures, which may include a utility vehicle, lift, trencher, drill, hole punch, conduit bender, pipe threader, fish tape, gauges, meters, electrical tools, mechanical tools or diagnostic instruments.
• Performs general cleaning/maintenance tasks necessary to keep equipment and tools in operable condition, which may include inspecting equipment, checking/replacing fluids, greasing equipment, washing/cleaning equipment, cleaning project work areas, and cleaning shop, monitoring equipment operations to maintain efficiency and safety, and reporting faulty equipment.
• Follows safety procedures, utilizes safety equipment and monitors work environment to ensure safety of employees and other individuals.
• Responds to emergency calls.
• Other duties may be required as assigned

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Or the combination of vocational/technical training in electrical systems and practical experience
• 2 years of industrial process experience and/ or training that includes installations, repair and maintenance of electrical systems

• Vocational training and/or certifications.
