Warehouse Associate – Boar’s Head Distributor
Location:
Essex, CT
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday (Early Morning Start)
Pay:
Competitive hourly rate based on experience
We are a growing Boar’s Head distributor seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring accurate order fulfillment, proper product handling, and maintaining the high-quality standards Boar’s Head is known for.
Responsibilities- Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately for daily delivery routes
- Receive and rotate inventory (FIFO required)
- Maintain clean, organized warehouse and cooler/freezer areas
- Verify product codes, quantities, and expiration dates
- Assist with loading delivery trucks as needed
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company procedures
- Work efficiently in refrigerated environments
- Previous warehouse or food distribution experience preferred (not required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable working in cold storage areas
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
