We are looking for a highly motivated and certified Personal Trainer to join our team at Carbon Performance in Franklin, Tennessee. As a Personal Trainer, you will play a key role in helping our members achieve their fitness goals, providing personalized training programs, guidance, and motivation. Responsibilities
  • Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions with members, delivering customized exercise programs based on their individual goals, fitness levels, and abilities.
  • Perform fitness assessments, including body composition analysis, flexibility tests, and cardiovascular endurance assessments, to establish baseline measurements and track progress.
  • Provide expert guidance on proper exercise techniques, form, and safety precautions to ensure members perform exercises correctly and reduce the risk of injury.
  • Motivate and support members to stay committed to their fitness goals, providing continuous encouragement, accountability, and positive reinforcement.
  • Responsible to for building out a complete weekly routine for all clients either in-person or training independently.
  • Demonstrate exercises and routines, instructing members on proper use of equipment and modifications to accommodate various fitness levels and abilities.
  • Design and implement progressive training programs that focus on strength, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, and functional movements.
  • Monitor and track member progress, adjusting training programs as needed to optimize results and ensure ongoing challenge and improvement.
  • Educate members on the importance of nutrition and lifestyle factors that contribute to the overall health and well-being.
  • Maintain a clean and organized training area, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and sanitized.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, research, and new training techniques to enhance your own knowledge and skills and provide the latest and most effective training methods to members.
  • Participate in club events, workshops, and educational programs to promote your services and contribute to the overall member experience.
Requirements
  • Certifications as a Personal Trainer from a recognized organization (e.g. NASM,NSCA, ACE, ACSM, ISSA).
  • CPR/AED certification (required) and knowledge of emergence response procedures (preferred).
  • Proven experience in personal training, preferably in a fitness club, gym, or related environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, exercise physiology, and fitness principles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively explain and demonstrate exercise techniques.
  • Motivational and supportive attitude, with the ability to inspire and empower clients to achieve their fitness goals.
  • Ability to adapt training programs to accommodate various fitness levels, limitations, and goals.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate member needs.
  • Previous sales experience.
