Working within a high‑production industrial environment, the Electrician will be responsible for electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work on complex production machines, equipment, and facilities. The Electrician will inspect electro‑mechanical and solid‑state machine control devices, transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components to ensure operational efficacy and compliance. Understanding of technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to efficiently and safely test, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical issues.
The Electrician will be exposed to chemicals and hazardous materials and will participate in chemical handling training and continued safety trainings. The Electrician will be provided with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and will be expected to follow all safety protocols and national/state/local electrical code guidelines.
Working independently and within a team setting, install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems in accordance to electrical codes.
Inspect and test electrical components, systems, and fixtures on production equipment, machinery, and within the building.
Evaluate and troubleshoot electrical systems utilizing blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
Document all completed electrical work and maintain logs, electrical drawings, and inspection forms.
Communicate electrical project status to the Maintenance Manager or maintenance team via email or verbally.
Monitor the building power monitoring and control system (PMCS) for normal power operation, prepare and analyze status or diagnostic reports.
Communicate and work with subcontractors and 3rd party vendors.
Actively participate in ongoing job training, including cross‑functional training programs.
Follow and adhere to all environmental, safety, and health policies and procedures without exception.
