Construction Field Support

Craft Design + Build is a high-end residential design/build firm focused on thoughtful planning, quality execution, and an exceptional client experience. We are looking for a team member to support our Project Managers by keeping jobsites running cleanly, efficiently, and professionally. This role is ideal for a skilled, organized carpenter who takes pride in details, enjoys problem-solving, and understands how small tasks and organization done well make a big difference in project success.

• Handle on-site punch list items efficiently and to a high standard
• Manage warranty and callback work, representing the company professionally with clients
• Fill scope gaps between subcontractors to keep projects moving forward
• Perform “fine framing,” including:
  • Installing blocking for plumbing valves, electrical fixtures, cabinetry, and accessories
  • Making minor framing adjustments during rough-ins as needed

• Run materials to jobsites as needed
• Order materials under the direction of the Project Manager
• Handle material returns
• Receive, organize, and manage warehouse inventory and deliveries to a high standard

• Install and maintain site protection
• Organize and clean jobsites to maintain Craft’s standards of professionalism

• You are proactive
• Jobsites are clean, protected, and organized
• Punch lists and callbacks are handled quickly and thoroughly
• Project Managers and Lead Carpenters can stay focused on higher-level coordination
• Small issues are solved before they become delays or client concerns

• Solid carpentry background with strong attention to detail
• Highly organized and reliable
• Strong communication and professional demeanor with clients and teammates
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative

• Salaried position: $72,000/year (Commensurate with experience, soft skills, organization, and attention to detail)

• Carry a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Basic construction knowledge: how to use construction equipment and tools
• Able to work outdoors for long periods of time, climb ladders and stairs
