Position

Purpose:

At Johnson Memorial Hospital, the Registered Nurses (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) deliver patient care to individuals in critical condition.

Employment Type: Part time

Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift

What You Will Do:

• Assume responsibility for critical care patients, conducting assessments, devising care plans, and adjusting critical drips to ensure hemodynamic stability and appropriate sedation levels.
• Attend to patients requiring advanced monitoring, heightened observation, utilization of invasive equipment, and administration of intricate medication regimens.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school
• Valid RN License in Connecticut

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Ideal candidates will have one or more years of ICU, Critical Care, or Step Down nursing experience
• Candidates with a minimum of one year of acute inpatient nursing experience will be considered for training
• BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) – ACLS certification, support available for certification post-hire.

Position Highlights:

• Part Time – 24 hrs/night shift
• Every other weekend/holiday
