At Johnson Memorial Hospital
, the Registered Nurses (RN) in the Geriatric Wellness unit specialize in mental health care for elderly patients experiencing psychiatric conditions such as depression, anxiety, dementia, and Alzheimer’s disease. This role involves direct patient care, emotional support, medication administration, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and compassionate treatment.

Full time

12 Hour Day Shift

• Conduct mental health assessments and monitor psychiatric symptoms in elderly patients.
• Work closely with all physicians, psychiatrists, social workers, and therapists to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
• Valid RN License in Connecticut.

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• The ideal candidate will have one or more years of Psychiatric or Geriatric experience in an acute inpatient setting.
• BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).

• Full Time: 36 hrs/week-Day Shift
• Rotating Every other Weekend/Holiday
