Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room and Endoscopy position in CT with on-call and weekend requirements.
Responsibilities- Work in the Operating Room and Endoscopy departments of a hospital setting
- Day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- Includes 1-2 on-call shifts per week and 1 weekend on-call per 4 weeks
- Uses Cerner EMR system
- May float between Operating Room and Endoscopy as needed
- Two recent professional references from prior year required for consideration
- Local candidates within 60 miles are eligible
- Proper hospital scrubs must be worn while on duty
- Active CT or compact RN license required
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years' Operating Room nursing experience required
- Orthopedic experience is preferred
