Production Control Assistant

Portland, CT | Monday–Friday | 7:00am–3:30pm

A well-established and growing aerospace manufacturer in the Portland area is looking for a dependable Production Control Assistant / (Occasional) Delivery Driver to support daily operations. What You'll Do:

• Assist the Production Control Supervisor with daily tasks

• Keep the supervisor informed regarding quality issues, safety concerns, etc.

• Occasionally pick up or deliver parts using a company-owned van

• Prepare subcontract paperwork

• Help ensure company vehicles are maintained

• Communicate any quality or safety concerns

• Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment

REQUIRED: Manufacturing or production experience is helpful, but not required.

• Valid driver's license

• Basic computer and math skills

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., be able to stand or walk about half the shift and perform repetitive hand work - Most parts weigh less than a pound, and boxes are light enough for one person to carry or move with a cart.

• Reliable, organized, and able to take initiative – should be a self-starter with a strong work ethic.

Pay & Benefits: $18–$25 per hour (based on experience) starting salary; plus health, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401(k) with company match, bonus potential, and tuition reimbursement.
