Barton & Gray Mariners Club is revolutionizing the yachting industry with best-in-class hospitality. As an exclusive yachting club, we provide private and memorable outings across 35+ stunning harbors. Our growing service team is seeking an experienced Marine Upholsterer to fabricate, repair, and install high-quality marine upholstery and canvas products. This role requires strong sewing skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of marine-grade materials and construction methods.
The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship and can work independently while meeting deadlines.

Primary Responsibilities:- Pattern, measure, cut, sew, and assemble marine upholstery and canvas products
- Fabricate and repair cushions, bolsters, seating, enclosures, covers, and related soft goods
- Work with marine-grade fabrics, vinyls, foams, threads, and hardware
- Operate industrial sewing machines and related upholstery tools safely and efficiently
- Install finished products on vessels as needed
- Repair and modify existing upholstery to match original design and fit
- Read drawings, templates, or verbal instructions and translate them into finished work
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members regarding project timelines and material needs
- Uphold quality standards and attention fit, finish, and durability
- Proven experience as a marine upholsterer, seamstress, or similar upholstery role
- Proven experience creating and modifying patterns for marine upholstery products
- Strong sewing skills with industrial sewing machines
- Knowledge of marine upholstery techniques and materials
- Ability to take accurate measurements and create patterns
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects
- Physical ability to lift materials and work in shop and marina environments
- Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious
- Experience with custom marine canvas (biminis, enclosures, covers)
- Familiarity with snap systems, zippers, binding, and foam shaping
- Prior boatyard or marine service environment experience
