CMM Programmer

Our client, a precision medical device and firearms manufacturing company, has an immediate need for an experienced CMM Programmer, to join our winning team in Middlefield.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must be able to write, develop, validate and debug Zeiss Calypso CMM and Micro Vu programs and provide the supporting QA documentation.
• Must be able to operate Zeiss Contura CMM and program with a CAD model in Calypso, Free Form and Curve Software.Design fixturing, manage and interpret data using QC Calc, Pi Web or other data collection and reporting software.
• Create inspection documents, balloon drawings, and Control Plans using Solidworks Inspection and Excel.
• Read drawings with GD&T, profiles, true position, datums, etc.
• Measure using an optical comparator, micrometers, height-stands, indicators, calipers, thread gages, V-blocks, Mahr Electronic Height Gage, and Mitutoyo Contractor.
• Create instructions and manage data using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, Word, and Outlook. Utilize production data and reports using Enterprise Resource System, E2.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, highly analytical, use fact-based problem-solving methods with strong interpersonal team-building skills including the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 3 years CMM Programming required
• Minimum of 3 years GD&T experience required
• ISO 13485, ASI
  9100 Quality Management Systems experience preferred
• Solidworks & Microsoft Office tools preferred
