Role Description
This is a full‑time on‑site role for a CNC Operator at our facility in Winsted, CT. The CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machines to manufacture high‑quality aerospace components. Daily tasks include loading materials, interpreting blueprints and instructions, performing quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications, and performing routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal functionality.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines and reading blueprints.
- Strong mechanical skills and familiarity with machine maintenance.
- Knowledge of measurement tools and quality control processes.
- Basic computer skills for inputting data and adjusting machine settings.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or training in machining are advantageous.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
