The Production Operative prepares customer parts for various electroplating or spray coating operations with a high regard for attention to detail on parts, work orders and Standard Operating Procedures. Works closely with Team Leader and General Foreman to ensure daily job schedules are communicated, adhered to and met for high quality output and customer service. Daily processing of parts for plating/coating includes but is not limited to:
General inspection (and counting) of parts, abrasive blasting, racking parts, accurate recording of plating time and processing information, cleaning of parts, masking/de-masking and moving parts to the next process. Work is subject to inspection and check as well as audits. Production Operatives may perform other duties as required and may be utilized in other areas of processing as work load may dictate.
Keep facility, materials and work area clean and organized, exercising care in their use. Uses safety practices and all required PPE. These are full-time positions Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm for First Shift and 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm for Split Shift.
Candidates must be 18 years of age. Pre-employment drug testing required as well as participation in the FAA random drug and alcohol testing program.
