As the Sr. Solutions Engineer for the Healthcare vertical, you will serve as the technical expert responsible for shaping and validating integrated system architectures that support hospitals, outpatient centers, and other clinical facilities across global markets.
You will work closely with sales, engineering, offering management, and customer stakeholders to understand clinical and facility requirements, develop integrated building‑system designs, and guide technical decisions that enable safe, efficient, and reliable healthcare environments.
This position is design‑led and solutions‑focused, emphasizing building systems, integration planning, and technical engagement throughout the pre‑sales and solution‑development lifecycle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead the design and technical architecture of integrated building systems for healthcare facilities, including building management systems, controls, environmental and critical space monitoring, and other low voltage building technologies.
- Translate clinical, facility, and operational requirements into scalable, clearly documented solution designs with defined integration pathways and functional impacts.
- Engage with healthcare owners, facility teams, consultants, and project partners to understand clinical workflows, facility types, and regional design needs across global markets.
- Support pre‑sales engagements by providing technical leadership, presenting solution options, and validating system feasibility in partnership with the sales organization (no individual sales quota).
- Review system specifications, design drawings, and integration requirements for key healthcare opportunities and major projects.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams:
Strategic Sales, Offering Management, Solutions Consulting, Product, and Engineering – to ensure system architecture aligns with Honeywell’s portfolio and healthcare‑segment goals. - Recommend optimal system designs based on healthcare operational priorities (patient and staff comfort, environmental control, reliability, energy efficiency) and regional requirements.
- Participate in architecture reviews, customer presentations, and industry discussions to convey technical value and system differentiation for healthcare environments.
- Maintain current knowledge of healthcare facility types, critical‑space environmental needs, and building‑systems integration practices.
- Travel as needed to support major customer engagements, design reviews, and technical workshops across domestic and international regions.
