We’re seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer - CNC Programmer to join a precision aerospace manufacturing team based in Deep River, Connecticut. This position plays a key role in developing, optimizing, and supporting CNC programs for high-precision components within a fast-paced aerospace environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and optimize CNC programs for 3-axis and 5-axis milling and turning operations using Mastercam.
- Interpret engineering drawings, models, and GD&T requirements to determine machining strategy.
- Create and maintain process routers, BOMs, and tooling documentation within ERP systems.
- Ensure adherence to AS9100, ISO 9001, and NADCAP standards.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or CNC programming.
- Proficient in Mastercam (required); experience with Solid Works, Hyper Mill, or Vericut is a plus.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, feeds/speeds, and setup requirements.
- Working knowledge of GD&T, precision machining, and aerospace tolerances.
- Familiarity with Siemens 840D, Fanuc, or OSP machine controls.
