Position Overview
Special Education Literacy Tutor – Grant Funded Position (Part‑time, 10‑15 hrs per week).

Part‑time, 10‑15 hours per week - Employment Duration:
As soon as possible through June 2026 - Reports To:
Director of Special Services / Special Education Supervisor
- Implement the principles of a structured literacy approach based on the Science of Reading.
- Collaborate with special education teachers to provide high‑quality instruction to students identified through the IEP process as requiring this level of intervention.
- Maintain detailed data and progress monitoring for IEP goals and objectives.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience/training in the Wilson Reading Program or Orton‑Gillingham preferred.
- Experience working with secondary students in a special education setting preferred.
