G & G Beverage Distributors, Inc. is a proud distributor of beers, craft beers and ciders throughout New Haven, Fairfield, Litchfield and Hartford counties.

Full time, 40 hours weekly. Salary range: $18.00 – $20.00 an hour (negotiable).

• Prepares visual presentations by designing art and copy layouts.

• Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
• Plans concept by studying information and materials.
• Designs rough layout of art regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
• Obtains approval of concept by submitting to sales team.
• Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting and printing.
• Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.
• Mounts and grommets signs.
• Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment.
• Maintains technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Graphic Design Skills, Layout Skills, Creative Services, Customer Focus, Creativity, Flexibility, Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented, Desktop Publishing Tools, Acute Vision, Knowledge and experience with Photo Shop and Coral Draw.

Shift priorities, work assignments and perform clerical work. Operates warehouse and office equipment. Sitting and lifting/carrying material under 150 pounds is required. Flexibility is required to schedule work hours and vacation around peak work times.

This position is backed up by Merchandisers, sales reps and sign making employees as requested. This position is classified as non-exempt.
