Accounts & TAx Semi-Senior

As a recruiter, I am delighted to be working with a small, growing, and long-established accountancy firm based in Folkestone, who are looking to appoint an Accounts & Bookkeeping Semi-Senior.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid practice experience who is keen to build on their foundations and take the next step in their career. The firm offers a supportive environment, exposure to a genuinely interesting mix of clients, and an excellent platform to continue professional training and development.

You will work closely with senior team members and partners, supporting a varied client portfolio and gaining broad experience across accounts and bookkeeping.

• Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Bookkeeping duties, including VAT returns
• Assisting with management accounts where appropriate
• Liaising with clients and responding to day-to-day queries
• Supporting senior staff across a range of general practice work

• In excess of two years’ experience within UK accountancy practice
• Strong grounding in bookkeeping and accounts preparation
• Studying AAT, ACCA, ACA, or keen to continue with professional training
• Well organised with good attention to detail
• Ambitious and motivated to progress within practice
