Position: Relief staff Housing Support
Overview

ASE Recruitment are specialist recruiters in the social housing and social care sectors providing temporary staffing to work within a variety of 24 hour supported accommodation services and floating support services for Housing Associations and Charities across the Northwest, Midlands, and Derbyshire.

We’re looking for Relief Support Workers to join our relief bank team to work with a leading housing association in the Cheshire East area from Congleton to Macclesfield supporting clients experiencing homelessness. You will be responsible for maintaining social contact and company to enhance quality of life, enhance personal safety, health and security, sustainment of tenancy, and improving financial independence and economic wellbeing to support our residents and participants back into the community.

Rota: Flexible around you

This is a temporary role, offering a competitive hourly rate of £13
, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Hours: 20-40

Contract: Temp - Relief staff

Rate: 13p/h

Responsibilities
  • Empower individuals with complex needs to achieve their personal goals and live independently
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver tailored support and advocacy
  • To provide a point of contact overnight and an on-site presence out of hours in our supported accommodation services ensuring the safety and security of the building and our tenants, residents and service users (TRS).
  • Contribute to a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive community
Qualifications
  • Experience in delivering support.
  • Ability to motivate service users to engage in support and personal development activities, while maintaining appropriate boundaries
  • Skilled in working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to build effective partnerships with a wide range of agencies
  • Proficient in accurately recording work, day-to-day interventions, and residents' progress
  • Knowledgeable about the needs of people with complex needs, welfare benefits, and relevant support agencies
  • A understanding of safeguarding and measures to report concerns
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively
  • Access to own transport

This role requires an Enhanced DBS check with barred list clearance (Adults).
