Yard Supervisor with FLT Counterbalance - Temp to Perm

Location: Congleton, Cheshire

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour (rising to £14.50 per hour when permanent)

We are recruiting for a reliable and experienced Yard Supervisor with FLT Counterbalance to join a busy builders merchants in Congleton. This is a temporary to permanent role offering consistent hours, a pay increase upon permanent placement, and long-term career stability.

This is a varied, hands-on position combining yard operations, forklift work, customer service, and internal administration.

• Supervising and supporting daily yard operations
• Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Assisting customers with collections and enquiries
• Completing general yard operative duties
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
• Handling internal paperwork and administrative tasks
• Supporting stock control and goods-in processes

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence
• Previous experience in a builders merchants or similar yard environment preferred
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Friendly and professional customer service approach
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  
  Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

• Monday to Friday: 07:00 - 17:00
• Every other Saturday: 08:00 - 12:00
