Personal Assistant / Carer Required in Congleton, CW12

£12.90 per hour
• 2 hours per week

We are looking for a personal assistant / Carer for a young female in Congleton, CW12. This young lady has autism, learning difficulties and is non‑verbal. She is able to use certain words, but cannot hold a full conversation. She loves bowling, cinema, going to the park, and going to the canal to feed the ducks but does not like walking too much nor does she like dogs.

£12.90 per hour, 2 hours per week with the potential of more hours once a relationship has been built up with this young lady.

• Build up a relationship with this young lady and help her develop life skills and independence.
• Assist with social activities such as taking her to the supermarket, visiting the park, walking down the canal to feed ducks, bowling, and dining out locally.
• Pro‑actively suggest and plan different activities and places to visit.
• Respond to additional activity requests from the employer, both inside and outside the home.

• The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure which will be funded through your employer.
• PA should ideally be local and know the area.
• A driver’s licence is desirable.
• Experience in the care sector is essential.
• Must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
• Must respect privacy and maintain dignity.
• Must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition.
• Must be able to work well independently.

The personal assistant is accountable to the employer in all aspects of their work. They should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests.
