General Statement Of Job
Warehouse Lead will handle the activities and operations of the warehouse.
Supervisory Responsibilities- Act as Warehouse Supervisor in the absence of the Warehouse Manager/Supervisor.
- Coach and train new hires on the warehouse standard operating procedures.
- Responsibility for the daily functions within the warehouse, including Receiving of Shop Tools, Supplies, and Inventory Items.
- Monitor cleanliness and maintain the warehouse in an orderly fashion to allow quick and easy access to inventory and supplies as needed.
- Communicate with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure products are on hand as needed.
- Participate in inventories at intervals as prescribed by the Company.
- Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse by properly unboxing and storing goods at their designated location.
- Maintain accurate records of products that have been stocked and provide management with an accurate representation of all goods shipped and received.
- Verify all incoming shipments are accurate by following all warehouse SOPs and ensure all goods are in excellent condition.
- Monitor and report any missing or lost inventory to management.
- Properly pack items to be shipped according to company standards to ensure they arrive in excellent condition.
- Organize and sort items on shelves, bins, and overhangs according to company standards.
- Accurately maintain company database including all stock and warehouse items.
- Reliably retrieve items from within the warehouse to be prepared and shipped.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High school graduation or equivalent (e.g., GED, college, technical or trade school transcript, foreign equivalency, etc.).
- Forklift experience a plus.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Interpersonal skills are essential, as working as a team is vital to maintaining an organized warehouse.
- Experience with software such as Microsoft Excel and other company spreadsheet programs.
- Experience using a forklift is strongly preferred.
- Typing and record keeping skills necessary to provide accurate information for managers and supervisors regarding warehouse inventory.
- Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance.
- The customer service mentality is beneficial to ensure a positive customer experience by shipping items to a high standard.
- Motivated and work well with others.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Willingness to embrace change in a growing company.

- Performing this job requires frequent use of hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls. Must be able to sit, talk, hear, and stand frequently throughout the day. Must be able to climb, reach above shoulder height, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl frequently.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds, as many warehouse items are cumbersome and heavy.
- Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing.
- This position requires working in a warehouse environment.
- Individuals may be exposed to varying temperatures including very hot (above 90°F) or very cold (below 32°F) and all-weather conditions.
