Fire Sprinkler​/Alarm Inspector

Topa Group is partnered with a leading Fire Protection Contractor serving the Charlotte metro market. We are seeking a detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler & Fire Alarm Inspector to perform inspections, testing, and documentation of life safety systems across commercial and industrial facilities. This role is focused on code compliance, accuracy, and clear communication with customers and AHJs.

• Perform inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA 25.
• Conduct inspection and testing of fire alarm systems per NFPA 72.
• Identify deficiencies, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.
• Complete accurate digital inspection reports and ensure compliance with AHJ requirements.
• Coordinate inspections with facility managers, property owners, and building engineers.
• Support re-inspections and follow-up visits as needed.
• Maintain inspection tools, testing equipment, and company vehicle.
• Adhere to OSHA and company safety policies at all times.

• 2+ years of experience inspecting fire sprinkler and/or fire alarm systems.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 25 and NFPA 72 standards.
• Experience with commercial and multi-tenant buildings.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily inspection schedules.
• Comfortable using mobile devices and inspection software.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• NICET certification (Fire Alarm or Water-Based Systems) preferred.
• Competitive hourly pay ($27–$34/hr)
