Food and Beverage, Food Service, Starbucks, Deli, Bakery (T2169) – Part-time

Starting Hourly Rate: $15.50 per hour. Applications: ongoing; no stated Final date to receive applications.

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience with a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operation, prioritizing the guest’s needs over tasks.
• Uphold and execute Food & Beverage standards, including replenishment, straightening merchandise, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and organizing.
• Follow all food safety requirements per Target policies and procedures.
• Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales.
• Work with vendors to set and maintain merchandise displays and keep backroom space organized.
• Identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to Target policies.
• Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to assist guests and resolve issues.
• Adhere to all applicable adult beverage laws, if applicable to the role.
• Use and care for in-store PPE and follow equipment control guidelines.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup, and drive-up while ensuring compliance with laws.
• Create a welcoming experience and assist guests in finding solutions to their needs.
• Performs other duties as required by business needs.

• Must be at least 18 years old (Bakery only).
• Previous food or grocery experience is preferred but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; resolve guest questions quickly.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes; stay composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle cash operations as needed; familiarity with safety and ladders where applicable.
• Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures and potential allergens.
