Description:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in Medical Surgical and Telemetry.
This position requires 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience.
The shift is a 12-hour night shift, working 36 hours per week.
The unit consists of 14 private rooms without negative pressure capability.
Patients may present with various diagnoses, including cancer, neutropenic fever, and those requiring fluid resuscitation or blood products.
Patient ratios are 1 RN to 4-5 patients, and 1 CNA to 7-14 patients depending on the shift.
Skills required for this position include PIV starts, NG tube placement and management, and chest tube management.
There is support available from CNA staff for assistance with ADLs, bathing, and mobility.
Nursing staff is equipped with access to telemetry monitoring and resource nurses when staffing allows.
Travelers will float within their region and scope of practice if needed.
Weekend rotations are required every other weekend, and travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays.
RTO requests can be approved for up to 6 days off, excluding holidays.
