The Mother Baby Unit is a 27‑bed, couplet care unit at Atrium Health Cabarrus. The nursing team is dedicated to delivering exceptional, family‑centered care for parents and newborns. We focus on breastfeeding support, education, and after‑discharge resources. Atrium Health Cabarrus Maternity has been recognized as a high‑performing hospital for maternity by U.S. News & World Report and Newsweek. The hospital holds the Pathways to Excellence Designation.
Responsibilities- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and effective communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Atrium Health Cabarrus is a 457‑bed tertiary care facility serving Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, and surrounding counties.
