Where You Will Work: Internal Progressive Unit (IPU) – 28-bed Medical/Surgical Progressive Care Unit (Step-Down Unit). Provides care for pulmonary, cardiac, renal, hematologic/oncologic, gastrointestinal, and more. Collaboration with ICU and Rapid Response teams.
Responsibilities and ExpectationsExpectations – We’re Looking For:
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Current RN licensure in an appropriate state. Minimum one year nursing experience preferred.
What You’ll Do:
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills in communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Atrium Health Cabarrus is a 457-bed tertiary care facility serving Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, and surrounding counties. As a designated Level III Trauma Center, we provide comprehensive emergency services and a wide range of specialty medical care.
