Where You Will WorkThe Clinical Education Services (CES) Department is a dynamic, high-performing team comprised of Service Line Educators, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Clinical Mentors, Program Coordinators, Wound/Ostomy Nurses, and Data Analysts. CES supports clinical staff through education and training to meet professional learning needs; it evaluates and implements evidence-based practice to improve outcomes, delivers education about new policies and procedures, coordinates programs such as Nursing Excellence and the Pathway to Excellence designation, Geriatrics, Sepsis, Life Support, and Wound Care.
It provides elbow-to-elbow support for clinical questions, supports nurses in achieving advanced degrees and specialty certifications, offers facility-based orientation, coordinates student groups for clinical and practicum rotations, supports the facility during regulatory surveys, and collaborates with many other departments to achieve goals and improve outcomes. Wound/ostomy nurses support care coordination with providers. The CES Department is an integral part of the facility’s day-to-day operations and performance improvement work.
Looking For
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- MSN, MHA, or Master’s degree in the job-related field of work required
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Direct experience or project management preferred
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and effective communication, you will lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
