Where You Will WorkThe Mother Baby Unit is a 27 bed, couplet care unit. The nursing team is dedicated to delivering exceptional, family-centered care for parents and newborns. We support families through one of life’s most meaningful journeys by focusing on breastfeeding support, education, and after discharge resources. The nursing team has a strong commitment to patient experience, quality outcomes, and teamwork. We have a collaborative team culture rooted in shared governance and encourage professional growth through certification and clinical ladder.
Atrium Health Cabarrus Maternity has been recognized as a high performing hospital for maternity by US News & World Report as well as a Best Maternity Care Hospital by Newsweek. The hospital also holds the Pathways to Excellence Designation.
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
