Opportunity Highlights- Schedule:
7 on / 7 off, 12-hour shifts (7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) - Job Setting:
Inpatient coverage of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery patients - Type of Cases:
- Vascular Surgery: ICU (co-management with Critical Care) and floor patients
- Cardiothoracic Surgery:
Floor patients only; no CT-surgery ICU coverage
- Responsibilities:
Overnight management of post-op and step-down patients, coordination with attending surgeons and ICU teams - Surgical/Call Requirements:
No OR responsibilities and no call - Credentialing:
Streamlined onboarding; emergency privileges available
- Board Certified / Board Eligible:
Physician Assistant – Surgical or Acute Care focus preferred - Certifications:
ACLS, BLS - Licensure:
Active North Carolina license or open to candidates eligible for NC licensure
