Production Team Lead - 3rd shift

Salary: $49,920 - $53,040 per year.

Shift: Third.

12 AM - 8 AM.

High School.

• Experience:
  
  At least 4 years of experience in production or 1 year in a prior leadership/lead role.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficiency in using and reading precision instruments, including rulers and micrometers.
• Mathematical Aptitude:
  Ability to perform calculations including percentages, multiplication, and division.
• Reliability: A professional with an excellent attendance record and a highly motivated, team-first mindset.
• Vision & Detail:
  Adequate vision to inspect products for small defects and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Operational Fitness:
  Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize appropriately; comfortable standing or walking for a 12‑hour shift.
• Computer Literacy:
  Proficient in operating a PC and utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

As a Production Team Lead, you will ensure operational excellence by leading a small team and coordinating closely with facility management. Your key responsibilities include:

• Team Direction:
  Lead a small production team to meet daily goals, providing direction to achieve high volume and yield targets.
• Metrics Management:
  Record and report performance metrics throughout the shift, ensuring all operators enter data accurately.
• Training & Mentorship:
  Support and coordinate the training of operators to ensure consistent competency across the production line.
• Downtime Coordination:
  Act as the primary point of contact for downtime issues, collaborating with onsite maintenance and engineering staff for rapid resolution.
• Standards Enforcement:
  Ensure all safety, quality, and productivity standards are met or exceeded during every shift.

• Wearing steel toe shoes.
• Working in a non‑temperature controlled environment.
• Manual lifting up to 50lbs.
• Standing for 12 hours at one time.
• Working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week.
• Working weekends.
