Overview
Location: Concord, NC
Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7am to 5pm
Starting Pay: $18.00/hour and up (based on experience)
Shift differential Pay: $1.75/hour

We are actively hiring Extrusion Operators to join our Concord, NC manufacturing team.
Position SummaryThe Extrusion Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion equipment used in the production of color compounds. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities- Maintain the highest standards of safety by following all safety procedures and actively participating in safety programs
- Operate extrusion and related production equipment, including extruders, feeders, pelletizers, scales, dies, and classifiers
- Produce compound samples according to customer and production specifications
- Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Add color mix to feeders using a tow motor/forklift to position color pots correctly
- Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of manufacturing or production experience strongly preferred
- Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting capability
- Forklift/tow motor experience preferred
- Solid math and analytical skills
- Dependable, reliable, and self-motivated work ethic
- Competitive starting pay: $18.00/hour and up
