What You'll Do:
- Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on production machines, facilities services, and conveyor systems.
- Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Layout, install, adjust, and maintain a variety of electrical equipment such as wiring, motors, switches, switchboards, and electrical mechanisms.
- Diagnose and remedy any electrical issues quickly to avoid shutdowns.
- Diagnose and remedy the trouble, determine necessary repairs, and tear down and reassemble machines.
- Prepare mechanical maintenance shift reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and work order repairs.

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical knowledge of automated production machine equipment and maintenance required.
- Must be able to work from blueprints, manufacturer specifications, and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to use common precision measurement gages, multimeters, and basic machine shop equipment.
- Must be able to stand/walk for a 12-hour shift.
- Must complete 24/40-hour Haz Woper Training and be medically qualified to wear respiratory protection.
- Must be able to push/pull/ lift at least 45 lbs. individually and 50 lbs. with the help of a team member.
- Physically able to pass spirometry exam for test fitting of respiratory equipment.
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, HAZWOPER, and ISO
14001
The hiring range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000 per year. This range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
