Automation Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Automation Commissioning Engineer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of state‑of‑the‑art control systems. This role involves executing automation commissioning and validation protocols, troubleshooting non‑conformances, and collaborating with both internal engineers and clients. Your work will enhance the efficiency, product quality, and profitability of process manufacturing.

• Execute automation commissioning and validation protocols.
• Troubleshoot and remediate commissioning and validation non‑conformances.
• Collaborate in a team environment to provide advanced control systems.
• Define and implement programmable logic controller (PLC) configurations.
• Conduct testing and on‑site commissioning and qualification of control systems.

• Proficiency with Allen‑Bradley and Rockwell PLCs.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in a GMP/Pharma environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer or Chemical Engineering or Electrical Technology.
• 2–8 years of experience in automation or related field.
• Hands‑on experience with Rockwell PLC troubleshooting.
• Ability to execute assignments with minimal supervision.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Concord, NC.

The pay range for this position is $60.00 – $65.00 per hour.
