At Stancil Services, we believe craftsmanship starts long before a brush touches a wall. The Assistant Territory Field Manager - Paint & Drywall supports the Territory Field Manager by coordinating people, materials, and schedules to keep every project running smoothly from prep to finish.
This role helps manage labor allocation, job readiness, access to tools and materials, and communication between the field and management. Success in this position requires strong organization, time management, and a proactive mindset to keep the Paint & Drywall Division operating efficiently and safely while upholding Stancil’s commitment to quality and integrity.
Supervisory Responsibilities- Support the Territory Field Manager in guiding and developing field personnel and coordinating labor resources.
- Assist in training field employees and support daily performance expectations.
- Project Execution & Field Support
- Assist in managing daily functions for each paint and drywall phase, including prep, finish, and touch-up.
- Coordinate labor scheduling and ensure teams follow established timelines.
- Confirm job readiness and support access to required materials, tools, and equipment.
- Drive material efficiency and waste-reduction efforts across all projects.
- Communication & Coordination
- Communicate field updates to labor teams and internal stakeholders as needed.
- Maintain strong relationships with construction managers for national and local builders in assigned communities.
- Serve as a liaison between field teams and company leadership to ensure scheduling and productivity alignment.
- Training & Operational Support
- Train field personnel and support workforce development initiatives.
- Support technology implementation across field operations.
- Support fleet management efforts and driver eligibility compliance.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications for the Assistant Territory Field Manager - Paint & Drywall include:
Education, Experience And Training- High school diploma or equivalent (GED, college, trade school, or foreign equivalent accepted).
- Ability to pass a physical examination and qualify for a medical card.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license for 3+ years and insurable on company policy (required).
- Bilingual Spanish skills a plus but not required.
- Provide professional, accurate, and timely support to customers, vendors, and team members.
- Demonstrate initiative, reliability, and strong time-management abilities.
- Adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under deadlines.
- Maintain confidentiality of company information and uphold company policies.
- Embrace innovation and change in a growing company environment.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, demonstrating strong follow-through and organizational skills.
- Work independently while remaining aligned with team goals and field operations needs.
- Outdoor-based role with frequent travel to field sites and active job locations.
- Frequent use of hands to handle tools or equipment and regular standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
- Must be able to lift and carry 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks in variable weather conditions (extreme heat, cold, and all weather exposure).
- Must be able to climb steps and navigate job sites safely.

- Company vehicle, mobile technology, field tools, and safety equipment as required for job duties.
- Standard communication and project-tracking tools (tablet, phone, software platforms).
