Important:
Relocation for Flight Instructor Training Program
As part of onboarding, you will participate in a 4–5 month Flight Instructor Training Program that includes hands‑on instruction. Relocation to a different location and/or state will be required during training. iFLY will provide financial support for relocation expenses. During the interview process, we will expand on relocation details.
Guaranteed Minimum Hourly Rate

During the training program, iFLY guarantees a minimum hourly rate of $20.00.
- Deliver state‑of‑the‑art instruction on indoor skydiving maneuvers, ensuring participants master body positioning, safety protocols, and control techniques.
- Engage participants with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a passion for flight, making each flight an exhilarating journey.
- Navigate and enforce all safety standards, maintaining a safe environment for all.
- Conduct pre‑flight safety instructions, explain flight techniques, answer questions, and calm nerves.
- Offer constructive post‑flight debriefs, boosting participants’ confidence and skills with expert insights.
- Collaborate seamlessly with fellow instructors and staff, promoting a cohesive team environment.
- Stay updated on the latest training tools and techniques to continually enhance instructional skills and customer experience.
- Drive add‑on sales by introducing guests to options such as additional flight time, high flights, return visits, or media packages.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be in great physical condition; the role requires stamina and strength for long periods.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
- Interest or background in coaching, teaching, or facilitating activity‑based roles.
