Starbucks Barista (T1227) – Target

Join Target, a Fortune 50 retailer, as a Starbucks Barista and help create a joyful shopping experience for guests. Gain hands‑on training and build skills in food and beverage service.

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by preparing handcrafted beverages and food.
• Maintain Starbucks brand standards, food safety, and quality control during all hours of operations.
• Execute food and beverage processes: replenishment, pulls, stocking, zoning, instocks, and backstock.
• Support the Starbucks Drive‑Up process and manage digital guest orders accurately.
• Keep the dining area inviting and clean, following Starbucks and Target routines.
• Engage with guests to meet and exceed expectations, tailoring service based on guest clues.
• Monitor and record temperature‑sensitive food items and complete all cleaning tasks.
• Follow proper packaging, labeling, and food safety guidelines, and report damaged or recalled items.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance, including back‑up cashier and drive‑up support.
• Perform all other duties as needed by business requirements.

• Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.
• Work independently and as part of a team, resolving guest questions quickly.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi‑step processes.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment, accomplishing tasks within established time frames.
• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with reliable attendance.
• Ability to work in environments ranging from 34°F to
  -10°F and handle common allergens.
• Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties.
