Veterinary Technician​/assistant Overnight ICU

VCA Capital Area Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Animal Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic veterinary technician to join our growing ICU care team full time! Credentials desired but not required.

• Anesthesia procedural monitoring
• Full Technician Skill Utilization
• Collecting patient histories & physical exams
• Medication refills, and Pet parent communication
• Proficient in medical calculations
• Venipuncture / IVC placement
• Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)
• Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
• Providing compassionate care for all patients

Full‑time (Three, 12‑Hour, 6a - 6p)

$21 - 28 / hour dependent on experience, skill set, and licensure status (CVT, VTS, CVPM)

We have the ability to support the most advanced cases with cutting‑edge technology utilizing our CT, and multiple specialty departments such as Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, I‑131 and more! We support full technician skill utilization and are dedicated to provide gold standard medicine and exceptional patient care. Our outstanding medicine is supported by a VTS in (ECC), and a VTS in (SAIM) and we continue to support a hospital culture of growth and development for all levels of technician.
