Standex Electronics is seeking an On‑site Master Production Planner/Scheduler for the Concord NH site. The Master Scheduler (MS) is responsible for developing, maintaining and executing the master production schedule to meet customer demand, inventory targets and operational constraints. This role serves as the central planning link between Sales, Manufacturing, Procurement and Logistics, leveraging SAP B1 (MRP, Production Planning) to balance service levels, capacity and revenue attainment while driving schedule stability.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule aligned to demand forecasts, customer orders and inventory policies
- Translate demand signals into feasible production plans considering equipment and resource capacity, materials and lead times
- Establish and manage frozen, slushy and liquid planning horizons
- Ensure adherence to schedule stability and minimise unnecessary plan changes
- Utilise SAP B1 PP / MRP to generate and manage planned orders and production orders
- Execute MRP runs, analyse exceptions and convert planned orders in line with business rules
- Maintain planning master data (lead times, lot sizes, safety stock, BOM accuracy) in collaboration with stakeholders
- Monitor and resolve SAP planning exceptions and data integrity issues
- Evaluate production capacity vs. demand and identify bottlenecks, collaborate with Manufacturing leadership on aligning to or removing bottlenecks
- Collaborate with Manufacturing to level load production and optimise resource utilisation
- Recommend overtime, subcontracting or schedule changes to mitigate constraints
- Partner with Sales, Customer Service and Demand Planning to align production with customer priorities
- Coordinate with Procurement and Buyers to ensure material availability
- Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering on schedule execution and change
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations Management or related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment, preferably electronics or assembly
- Strong understanding of capacity planning, scheduling principles and lean manufacturing practices
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills
