Principal Business Analyst/Architect - Contract - Hybrid (Concord, New Hampshire)
Note - This is a hybrid role based in Concord, New Hampshire. Candidates should be local to the area or be willing to relocate to the client location.
We are looking for a skilled and results-oriented Principal Business Analyst/Architect to design and implement scalable business solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional specifications, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems while adhering to cybersecurity standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of functional solutions that align with business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business processes and define functional specifications.
- Work with cross-functional teams (product, IT, development) to ensure technical alignment.
- Conduct requirements-gathering workshops and document business needs effectively.
- Oversee solution implementation, integration, and customization of third-party applications.
- Stay updated on technology trends and recommend best practices for system design.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and user experience.
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 12+ years of overall experience, including 4-5 years of hands-on Business Analyst experience.
- Knowledge of ERP, CRM, and enterprise applications.
- Experience with cloud computing, APIs, microservices, and web services.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and business process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on business outcomes.
- Ability to present complex solutions to executive stakeholders.
Skills:
- Experience with Oracle or equivalent RDBMS.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL) are a plus.
- A background in data architecture and governance is advantageous.
- Familiarity with agile and Dev Ops methodologies.
