As an IT Support Specialist
, you will facilitate the comprehensive onboarding process for remote medical providers. This role focuses on workstation logistics and onboarding management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all training, equipment setup, and provider communications are timely, accurate, and aligned with project requirements.
This position is based on-site at our office in Windham, New Hampshire.
In this role, you will:
- Provide frontline IT support for providers, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Maintain and update the IT asset inventory system, ensuring accuracy of hardware and software.
- Oversee the lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, and return.
- Maintain detailed instructions and tracking mechanisms for workstation asset deployment and retrieval.
- Coordinate with internal resources and Medicus providers to ensure all system trainings are scheduled and completed based on client requirements and timelines (PACS, Powerscribe Dictation, Sectra, EPIC).
- Work collaboratively with internal Medicus teams to deliver solutions.
- Handle client escalations as necessary.
- Develop and maintain documentation on inventory processes.
- Collect, analyze, and report on asset data to support IT planning respective to future staffing projections.
- Create documentation related to setup best practices and troubleshooting guidelines.
Here’s what we look for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related studies preferred.
- Experience with networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- General knowledge of information security best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
