Description
***$2,500 SIGN-ON BONUS**
* As a Respiratory Therapist you will be responsible for the set-up of related products for patients in the home setting, including therapeutics, diagnostics, high tech ventilation, oxygen, and other miscellaneous respiratory equipment. This is a field-based, hands-on respiratory therapist/leadership position that requires a candidate with the drive and skill to be a respiratory caregiver, patient advocate, and positive representative of Prompt Care.
This responsibility extends to a 24-hour basis in coordination with the department Manager. It also extends on a 24-hour / 7-day basis in accordance with the nature of care which Prompt Care provides.

Regional Director of Respiratory Operations
Job Type: Non-Exempt, Full/Time, 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri with on-call responsibilities.

Manchester and Concord, New Hampshire
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Respiratory School
- Must have current Respiratory Care Practitioner state licensure in the state inquiring employment and in good standing
- Must be willing to get cross-licensed in other states at the company’s expense
- Must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance in good standing
- At least 1 year experience as a working Respiratory Therapist is required
- Experience in the home care setting is highly desirable
- RRT certification required
- Current CPR- BLS certification required
- Must have adequate PC skills to use e-mail and update notes and other documentation electronically in a timely manner
Job Responsibilities , Included But Not Limited To
- Provides patients and family members with timely and accurate information and takes appropriate corrective actions regarding our services to ensure complete satisfaction
- Ability to initiate and develop good working relationships with patients, family members and referral sources is essential
- Ensures that the team plans daily events so as to be as efficient as possible with time management (e.g., minimizes travel time by planning routes ahead of time)
- Assists with the proper scheduling of set ups and follow up visits according to company policies and standards
- Works closely with the RT Clinical Liaisons in coordinating patient discharges
- Ability to properly triage problems in the field in accordance with company standards and other verbal and written training policies
- Ensures that the team follows proper procedures for accurate and timely documentation of patient concerns, and most importantly, takes appropriate corrective actions
- Maintains strong knowledge of Prompt Care’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensures that they are applied consistently
- Ensures that the team maintains compliance to all applicable laws, regulations and SOPs at all times
- Fosters a culture wherein the team conducts activities with a mindset of delivering “white glove” service to the patients and family members
- Submits expense reports for travel at least once monthly and in a timely manner
- On-call responsibilities as needed

This position is highly active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, and climbing all, maneuver in small areas and frequently lift and/or move 30 pounds or more.
